Thuramukham is a Malayalam language historical drama film directed and filmed by Rajeev Ravi. The screenplay, written by Gopan Chidambaram, is based on the play of the same name by his father K. M. Chidambaram. The film stars Nivin Pauly, Indrajith Sukumaran, Joju George, Arjun Ashokan, Sudev Nair, Manikandan R. Achari, Senthil Krishna, Nimisha Sajayan, Poornima Indrajith, and Darshana Rajendran in prominent roles.

The movie Thuramukham as you know it is coming to you today. There is unspeakable joy. Hope everyone will go to the theater and watch the movie. In my opinion, ‘Thuramugam’ is a film poetry done well by Rajivettan. Similarly, the pain of sadness, mockery and isolation that I had to bear for the last four years is the end of my film career. It has to be said that the film was prepared for release several times, but it did not materialize because there were some vested interests in it and they deliberately stood in the way of it all the time. Because of the dignity of the life I have earned, I do not mention anyone’s name now.
At every stage, under the trailer and Facebook posts, there are people who have said in various languages that if they can’t make the film and distribute it, then stop this work. I have nothing but gratitude to all. My life is mostly cinema. There is a life where cinema is dreamed and woke up. A time when there was no place to sleep in Madras and I walked with movie dreams. There was a time when he walked around as a film executive with an old Splendor bike without money even for oil. And so it began. In the film I have only tried to help people as much as possible. Often nothing is achieved. At the same time, there have been many fruits. Maybe I just don’t have the guts to do a film like Haramukh, and maybe told some small lies when many people don’t have the money to pay. May have borrowed from many.All agree. All this is because of love for the field of cinema.
