Fans of Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth have a reason to rejoice. The couple, who had been wed for about 18 years, announced their separation in January of this year. The two have reportedly chosen to put their divorce on hold in order to try to patch things up, according to the most recent sources. We are still awaiting Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s official declaration, though.
Announcing their decision to part ways, Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth released a joint statement that read, “18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well-wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting… Today we stand at a place where our paths separate… Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better,” Dhanush had written.

For those who don’t know, Dhanush and Aishwarya got married on November 18, 2004, in a South Indian tradition. Linga and Yatra, their two kids, make them proud parents. Recently, the estranged couple was spotted together at a Linga’s school function. The two were featured in a photo that circulated online.
On the work front, Dhanush will next star in the multilingual drama Vaathi, directed by Venky Atluri. The project is scheduled to debut on December 2nd of this year. The talented actor will portray a teacher in the picture. In addition, he will portray the lead character in Captain Miller, the upcoming drama by Arun Matheswaran. The project, billed as an action-adventure movie, will take place in 1930s India.
