Rajinikanth, a superstar, was recently recognized for paying his taxes on time by the Chennai income tax office. The state of Tamil Nadu’s biggest taxpayer is now Thalaiva. On his behalf, his daughter Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth accepted the honor. Sharing images from the event held by the Department of Income Tax, that she is a “proud daughter.” She captioned the photos, “Proud daughter of a high and prompt taxpayer. On the professional front, Aishwaryaa will make her Bollywood directorial debut with her upcoming movie, “Oh Saathi Chal.” Meenu Aroraa, best known for creating the critically acclaimed “Jhund,” will produce the film, an astonishing true love story. The director had released her Tamil song, “Payani,” a month before. After a lengthy gap of nine years, the music single marked Aishwarya’s return to directing.
