Vijay Has Decided To Cancel The Audio Launch Event For His Movie Leo

Vijay’s highly anticipated film “Leo,” a collaboration between Vijay and Lokesh, is generating immense buzz as a major cinematic venture. Unfortunately, there’s disappointing news surrounding the movie as its audio launch, originally slated for September 30, has been officially canceled due to security concerns. The cancellation was primarily prompted by security reasons, given the substantial number of attendees expected for the audio launch. Sevenscreen Studios, the production company behind “Leo,” clarified that the decision was solely based on exceeding the expected number of passes and security limitations. Notably, recent audio launches of Vijay-starrer films have been prominent events, often serving as platforms for the actor to make significant political statements and clarify his stance to fans. Thus, the cancellation raised speculation and curiosity, especially amidst Vijay’s ongoing political engagements.

The event was initially planned to take place at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai. Producer Jagadish Palanisamy expressed the difficulty of the decision and acknowledged the disappointment it brought to fans. Despite the preparation, the decision was necessitated due to overwhelming demand for tickets. The film is scheduled for a global theatrical release on October 19 and is jointly produced by Lalith Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy under the banners of Seven Screen Studios and The Root.
