Tamil Nadu Minister Udayanidhi Stalin has strongly criticized the BJP following the ED custody of Minister Ponmudi. Udayanidhi Stalin stated that attempts to intimidate central agencies would not work and that the ED and CBI cannot intimidate the DMK. He further mentioned that while the BJP may have been successful in bringing the AIADMK to power by using central agencies, such tactics would not be effective against the DMK.
Udayanidhi Stalin’s response comes after Minister Ponmudi was taken into custody by the ED following a 13-hour-long raid. Another minister from Stalin’s cabinet was also apprehended by the ED while Stalin himself was in Bangalore attending an opposition meeting.
