Udayanidhi Receives Legal Notice Over Controversial Release

A petition has been filed in the Madras High Court seeking to block the release of Udayanidhi Stalin Mari Selvaraj’s Mamannan, which is eagerly awaited by South Indian moviegoers. Udayanidhi Stalin announced that the film will be his last film, and reports are coming out that the film is strongly political. Now the producer named Rama Saravanan has approached the Madras High Court demanding to stop the release of the film.

The petitioner’s demand is that he produced the film Angel in 2018 with Udayanidhi Stalin in the lead, and after completing 80 percent of the film’s shooting, Udayanidhi Stalin did not give him a date to shoot the remaining 20 percent scenes, and this will cause a huge financial burden to him, and before the release of Mamannan, Udayanidhi Stalin should pay him Rs 25 crore as compensation or stop the release of the film. It is reported that the court will hear the case soon. Angel is a film with a big star cast including Yogi Babu, Anandi and Payal Rajput.
