Mamannan On Netflix Leaves Viewers Hooked And Begging For More

“Mamannan” is a Tamil political thriller directed by Mari Selvaraj, who also played one of the central characters in the film. The movie was produced by Udayanidhi Stalin under the banner of Red Giant Movies. Vadivelu portrayed the titular character, and he delivered a remarkable performance in a different getup. Fahadh Fazil played the role of the antagonist in the film. “Mamannan” was released in theaters on June 29 and received a positive response from the audience, resulting in good box office collections. After its successful theatrical run, “Mamannan” has now made its way to OTT (Over-The-Top) streaming through the popular platform Netflix. The streaming started at midnight the day before yesterday.

Mari Selvaraj previously directed movies like “Pariyerum Perumal” and “Karnan,” and “Mamannan” marks his next directorial venture. The film features Keerthy Suresh as the heroine, adding to its star-studded cast. During its initial week, “Mamannan” garnered an impressive collection of Rs. 40 crore at the box office. Additionally, it was reported that the film managed to earn 2.5 crores from Kerala alone within two weeks of its release. Overall, “Mamannan” has been well-received by the audience, both in theaters and on the OTT platform, further cementing Mari Selvaraj’s reputation as a talented director in the Tamil film industry.
