The announcement of Kerala State Film Awards 2022 has been postponed. On July 19 at 11 am, Minister of Culture Saji Cherian was scheduled to make the announcement in Thiruvananthapuram. This time the films were judged by a jury headed by Gautam Ghosh.
The announcement of the State Film Awards was postponed following the announcement of two days of mourning in the state following the death of former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy.
