Producers Association will continue the ban against actor Shane Nigam. Representatives of the Producers Association revealed that they have held some discussions with the Amma representatives regarding the lifting of the ban, but no decision has been made and the non-cooperation will continue at present. Shane had earlier written a letter to the star organization seeking his mother’s intervention in the ban. The discussion was based on this.
The Producers Association also stated that there was no discussion about Srinath Bhasi as he is not a member of Amma at present. The Star organization has taken the position that it cannot interfere in the problem as the Star is not a member of the organization. After being banned by the Producers Association, Srinath applied for membership in Amma but was not considered. Dhyan Srinivasan, who applied along with Srinath, was given membership by Amma. In the context of constant complaints against Srinath, the application has been postponed for the consideration of the executive meeting.
