It is reported that Mohanlal is playing the role of Special Public Prosecutor Vijayamohan in this film. Mohanlal is presenting a lawyer role after a long gap. Priyamani is the heroine. Through this film, Mohanlal and Priyamani join together after 11 long years. In 2012, Mohanlal was an IPS officer and Priyamani was a lawyer when they acted in ‘Grand Master’. It is also special that both of them appear as lawyers in ‘Neru’. This film is entirely a courtroom drama.
Siddique, Jagadish, Anaswararajan, Ganesh Kumar, Nandu, Dinesh Prabhakar, Shankar Induchudan, Shanti Mayadevi, Mathyuvarghese, Kalesh, Kalabhavan Ginto, Rashmi Anil, Ramadevi are also the main stars of this film.
