Nagarjuna on 25th 2021, Wednesday announced that he has started shooting for his next film titled Bangarraju. The film, which is the sequel of Nagarjuna’s 2016 release Soggade Chinni Nayana. In the movie Soggade Chinni Nayana’s Satya, a widow, employs the spirit of her late husband, Rangaraju, to save their son’s marriage. While fixing things between his children, he uncovers the bitter truth behind his death. 
Bangarraju, a sequel to the 2016 film Soggade Chinni Nayana, will feature Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, Ramya Krishnan, and Krithi Shetty. This movie has Krithi Shetty in the lead role.

Sharing the news on his Twitter account, Nagarjuna wrote, “So very happy to start work for #Bangarraju along with @chay_akkineni !!! We welcome @ZeeStudios_in this exciting journey!”
Bangarraju is directed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala. The film is supposed to be a wholesome entertainer.
The main highlight of the movie Bangaraju is Akkineni Nagarjuna and his son Naga Chaitanya are going to share the screen space. It will be a festival for all the fans of the Akkineni family if King Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya share the screen space. It is already seen in the Manam movie which also had legendary actors Nageshwara Rao and Akhil along with Samantha in the main roles. Now, for the second time, the father and son are all set to team up for the sequel of the blockbuster movie ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’…
On the professional work front
- Nagarjuna will be soon seen in the Bollywood film Brahmastra. Talking about his role in Brahmastra, Nagarjuna told it is a very powerful character.
- Naga Chaitanya, on the other hand, has a couple of films lined up for release. He is waiting for the release of Love Story, which hits theatres on September 10. He is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, which is scheduled for Christmas this year.
