Video of RPF jawan rescuing a woman who fell on the track while the train was coming!

An RPF jawan in Mumbai saves the life of a woman in an accident. The video of the incident went viral on social media. A woman standing on the platform of Mumbai’s Sandhurst Road station suddenly fell into the track. An RPF jawan on duty saw the woman fall and jumped on the track and rescued the girl with the help of people who were on the platform just before the train arrived.

At 7:40 pm on December 10, 23-year-old Anisha Sheikh was standing on platform number 2 of Sanhurst Road station. Suddenly dizzy and fell from the platform to the railway track. As soon as RPF constable Shyam Surat saw the young woman falling, he jumped on the track and rescued them. The incident was captured on a CCTV camera. The Central Railway praised the jawan for this adventure.

A video of the incident was posted on the Twitter account of the divisional railway manager. He also tweeted that RPF officers were on duty day and night for the safety of passengers.

This is not the first time that railway officials have prevented such accidents and saved lives. Earlier on July 28, an RPF officer rescued a passenger who had fallen while boarding a train in Mumbai. An RPF officer saw the passenger fall while boarding the train and rushed to his rescue. He was rescued without falling into the gap between the train and the platform.
