This can happen if you flush the toilet on the plane!

Aeroplan secret

Going to the bathroom on a plane is an exciting thing. Because you will have a lot of doubts in your mind about the bathroom on the plane. Why not flush when sitting in the bathroom, why the flushing sound is so loud, why the toilet water is blue, and whether the toilet waste falls from the sky ?. Passengers often have such doubts.

Because of the difference between the air pressure inside the aircraft and inside the cabin when the aircraft is in flight, a very loud noise is heard when a passenger flushes. This sound may sound like your toilet waste is flowing into the air, but it is not. Human waste from aircraft is either discharged into a closed sewage tank or pumped into the tank with the help of high-pressure air. It works like a normal house toilet. After the aircraft reaches its destination, the valve of the tank located at the bottom of the aircraft is opened and the wastewater is transferred to another tank for treatment. The ground crew will be doing this job.

In 1975, James Kemper patented a vacuum toilet and invented a toilet suitable for modern aviation needs. His invention was installed on Boeing planes in 1982, and solved a problem that could not be managed, such as a leak in a siphon toilet that had previously been used. Watch the video below to know more.
