Apart from this, Vijay presented a diamond necklace to Nandini, a student who secured full marks in the higher secondary examination. It is said that it will cost around 10 lakh rupees. Vijay honored Nandini and her parents by inviting them together on the stage. Nandini scored 100 out of 100 in all subjects including Tamil and was ranked first at the state level. Nandini’s father Saravanakumar is a carpenter. Mother Bhanupriya is a housewife.

The program started at 8.30 in the morning and lasted for thirteen hours. It was also noticed that Vijay stood on the stage without sitting even once.
