Aadujeevitham The Goat Life box office carry on day one: Prithviraj-Blessy’s latest film has a record-breaking start.
On its first day of release, Aadujeevitham made box office history. The survival drama, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, is performing well at the box office, with opening day figures breaking records. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film grossed Rs 7.45 crore in all languages in India on Thursday.
The Malayalam version of the film earned Rs 6.50 crore, while the Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi language versions added another Rs 1 crore to the film’s first-day total. Aadujeevitham has had one of the best starts for a Malayalam film in India, with an all-India gross collection of more than Rs 9 crore (official figures have yet to be released).
Aadujeevitham has one of the highest nett opening day receipts in Kerala. This opening is five times that of Tovino Thomas’ 2018 (Rs 1.7 crore) and nearly double that of Manjummel Boys, which debuted at Rs 3.3 crore. Manjummel Boys is now the highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time, with a worldwide total of Rs 212 crore.
It remains to be seen whether the film would officially surpass Mohanlal’s Odiyan’s opening day figures, which were estimated to be approximately Rs 7.10 crore nett. Aadujeevitham’s day one worldwide collections are expected to be between Rs 14-15 crore.
