The new song has been released titled ‘Soul of Varisu’ with the beautiful singing of KS Chitra. A song sung by Vijay himself and a song sung by Chimbu in S Thaman’s music direction were recent hits in the film.
Vamshi Paidipally, who is producing ‘ Varisu’, is the director who won the 2019 National Award for Best Popular Film for his Mahesh Babu starrer ‘Maharshi’. Rashmika Mandana will play the female lead in Varisu. The film, which belongs to the family entertainer category, also stars Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Shyam, Prabhu, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Khushbu, Sangeeta Krishna, and others. This is Vijay’s 66th film. The film will be released in Tamil and Telugu. The film will hit the theaters as a Pongal release.
