Gokulam Gopalan has acquired the Kerala distribution rights of Raghava Lawrence starrer Chandramukhi 2 under the banner of Laika Productions for Shree Gokulam Movies . Chandramukhi 2 is Gokulam Movies’ joint distribution with Lyca Productions after Ponniyin Selvan and the sixth film that Gokulam Movies has collaborated with Lyca Productions.” We are extremely proud to be associated with Lyca Productions. With Sri Gokulam Movies expanding its distribution in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, we can expect more films with Lyca Productions,” said Krishnamurthy, Executive Producer, Sri Gokulam Movies.
The film will hit the theaters on September 28. Dream Big Films is the distribution partner in Kerala. Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut is the female lead in the film directed by P Vasu. Subhaskaran is producing the film under the banner of Lyca Productions. Raghava Lawrence is coming as Vettain Raja.’ ‘Chandramukhi 2’ is the sequel to ‘Chandramukhi’ which created history at the box office 18 years ago. Chandramukhi, starring Rajinikanth, Jyothika, Prabhu and Nayanthara in the lead roles, was released on 14 April 2005. Indications are that Chandramukhi 2 is coming with emphasis on humor along with horror.
