Senior South Indian actress Jayanthi has passed away. Death due to congenital disease of old age. The funeral was held in Bangalore this morning. He was 76 years old. Jayanthi started her acting career in 1963 with the Kannada film ‘Jeenu Goodu’ and has acted in over 500 films in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
She has acted with all the major superstars in South India. He has done notable roles with NT Rama Rao, MG Ramachandra, Raj Kumar, and Rajinikanth. Jayanthi has made a name for herself in Telugu audiences with her superhit films like Pedarayudu, Swathi Kiranam, Kodama Simham, Justice Chaudhary, and Kondaveeti Simham Burret. She has acted in six Malayalam movies.
