Mohanlal, a superstar in Malayalam cinema, is getting ready for the October 21 release of his new movie, Monster. The movie ran into trouble, though, when the Gulf nations forbade it due to its LGBTQ themes. The film’s creators had requested that the Censor Board reevaluate it. According to the most recent information, Bahrain has lifted the ban on Monster after asking the directors to cut 13 minutes from the movie.

The official release of Mohanlal’s Monster is set for October 21. The film producers are planning for a wide release as it marks the reunion of the Pulimurugan duo, Mohanlal and director Vysakh.

Sreedhar Pillai, a trade analyst, announced on Twitter that Bahrain has lifted the ban on Mohanlal’s Monster. 13 minutes of the movie had to be cut, though, according to the producers. According to sources, Monster will premiere in Bahrain’s theatres on October 21. The manufacturers are awaiting approval from the other Gulf nations.

In this suspenseful detective story, Mohanlal plays a mysterious character by the name of Lucky Singh. The movie was written by Uday Krishna, and Vysakh directed it. Additionally playing significant roles in the criminal thriller are Lakshmi Manchu, Siddique, Honey Rose, Lena, Ganesh Kumar, and Sudev Nair.

In his next crime thriller, Monster, Mohanlal will be seen in never-before-seen role.
In the movie’s teaser, the actor can be seen speaking fluent Punjabi while sporting turban and beard. On October 9, the trailer of Monster was unveiled. Sharing the trailer, Mohanlal wrote, “#Monster official trailer out now! (sic).”

Within a few hours, the trailer got 3 lakh views on YouTube.
