Manjummel Boys;Apart from Kerala, the movie received a good response in Tamil Nadu

The Chidambaram-directed film became the biggest hit for a Malayalam film in Tamil Nadu after Jaane Mann. Manjummal Boys earned more than 15 crores from Tamil Nadu alone. The film collected 56 crores from India alone. It has collected more than 40 crores from abroad.

After Lucifer, Pulimurugan and 2018, this is also the fourth Malayalam film to reach the 100 crore club through theatrical collection. The film, which hit theaters on February 22, is a survival thriller set in the backdrop of the troubled ‘Guna Caves’ in Kodaikanal. Now a note about the film is noteworthy. In a note shared by Riyaz Edapal Movie Group, it is said that currently the collection of Manjumal Boys is coming from Tamil Nadu rather than Kerala.

If we are able to dub and release our films in the Tamil Telugu industries which are bigger industries than us and raise the market well, we will get gross collection from these two industries than from
Kerala coming from Tamilnadu than from Kerala. Ifit had been released in Tamil and Malayalam at the same time, the SCENE change would have become its EXTREME level. We should not wait for a Baahubali or KGF to change
the industry and use our films with good content.
