National award winner Ram is directed in the film Peranbu. Mammootty plays the lead character in the movie. The film tells story of Amudhavan, a taxi driver and their daughter Pappa. The film which has been screened in a number of film festivals has already been discussed.

In 2005, an insident was seen Ram. That Inspiration is created by this movie script. The script was completed in 2009. Ram has said that only one person could have become a character named Amudhavan, that is Mammookka. 
First i approached Mammukka. Mammooka said okay. But four years wait for Sadana . Sadhana received the award for the film Thankammen. She was a talented kid so we waited to grow. Peranbu needs a teenager.
Finally, the film came true. Ram has been repeating his success once again through the movie ‘Peranbu’ Starrer by Mammootty.
