The shooting of the film ‘Kaathal’ starring Mammootty and Jyothika has been completed. Today marks the end of the 34-day-long shoot. Jyothika and Mammootty completed their parts two days ago.
On its Facebook page, Mammootty’s company expressed its heartfelt thanks to all those who collaborated with the film for the successful completion of the shoot. After a gap of twelve years, Jyothika’s Malayalam film is directed by Jio Baby. Jyothika’s last Malayalam film was ‘Sita Kalyanam’, where Jayaram played the lead role
Mathew Devasi is the name of Mammootty’s character in the film. Kathal also has the distinction of being the Mammootty company’s film after the hit film Roshaak. Distributed by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films, the film stars Lalu Alex, Muthumani, Chinnu Chandini, Sudhi Kozhikode, Anagha Aku, Josie Sijo and Adarsh Sukumaran.
