Lokesh Kanagaraj Takes A Break From Social Media

Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for his directorial successes, has decided to step away from social media for a six-month sabbatical following the release of ‘Leo.’ Often referred to as the ‘thottathum ponnakiya director,’ he has an impressive track record with five hit feature films, from ‘Managaram’ to ‘Leo,’ with the latter being the pinnacle of his career, having crossed the 500 crore mark. The latest update on Lokesh reveals that he is opting for a temporary break from social media to channel his focus on his upcoming project starring Rajinikanth. Tentatively titled ‘Thalaivar 171,’ the shooting is set to kick off in March and April of 2024. Lokesh is facing a hectic schedule with script finalization and extensive pre-production work.

This isn’t the first time Lokesh has opted for a social media hiatus ahead of a film project. Even before the announcement of ‘Leo,’ he had taken a break from social platforms. ‘Leo’ generated substantial pre-release buzz in Kollywood this year, initially receiving mixed reviews but ultimately achieving remarkable financial success
