The highly anticipated Dulquer Salmaan film, ‘King of Kotha’, has finally had its release date announced. This mass entertainer is set to grace theaters on August 24, coinciding with the Onam festival. The high-budget film will be screened in over 400 theaters across Kerala. Directed by Abhilash Joshi, ‘King of Kotha’ is the most expensive film in Dulquer’s career to date. The film is a joint production by Zee Studios and Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films. The star-studded cast includes Shabir Kallarikkal, Prasanna, Chemban Vinod, Shammi Thilakan, Gokul Suresh, Vada Chennai Saran, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Naila Usha, Shanthi Krishna, and Anikha Surendran, among others. Nimish Ravi handles the cinematography, while Jakes Bejoy and Shaan Rahman are in charge of the film’s music.
The film’s crew also includes Sanghatanam Rajasekhar, scriptwriter Abhilash N Chandran, production designer Nimesh Tanur, editor Shyam Sasidharan, choreographer Sherif, makeup artist Ronex Xavier, costume designer Praveen Verma, still photographer Shuhaib SBK, and production controller Deepak Parameswaran. The film’s music will be released by Sony Music, and PR is handled by Pratish Shekhar.
