Jailer, the upcoming Rajinikanth film, has garnered significant anticipation among Tamil moviegoers. Interestingly, Malayalees in Kerala are also eagerly awaiting a film starring Mohanlal. In relation to Jailer’s release, information regarding freedom of expression for the film in Kerala has emerged. Shree Gokulam Movies, led by Gokulam Gopalan, has secured distribution rights for Jailer in Kerala. It is reported that Gokulam Movies has paid the highest amount for a Rajinikanth film since Shankar’s ‘2.0’. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on August 10. Additionally, Gokulam Movies had previously obtained the Kerala distribution rights for Vijay’s Leo as well.

Jailer, directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar, features Rajinikanth in the role of ‘Muthuvel Pandian’.The film also stars Ramya Krishnan, who portrays a strong character. Jailer marks the collaboration of Rajinikanth and Ramya Krishnan after their previous blockbuster, ‘Padayappa’. Additionally, Malayalam actor Vinayak and Kannada actor Shivraj Kumar play lead roles in the film. With a substantial budget, Jailer is yet another major project in Rajinikanth’s illustrious career. Following Vijay’s ‘Beast’, Jailer is Nelson Dilip Kumar’s next directorial venture. As the title suggests, Rajinikanth assumes the role of a jailer in the film. Vijay Karthik Kannan serves as the cinematographer, while the music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Stunt Siva is responsible for the action choreography. A massive set was constructed at Ramoji Rao Film City for the movie.
