With the release of four movies this year, Dhanush has had a busy year. The actor’s most recent appearance was in Selvaraghavan’s psycho-thriller “Naane Varuvaen.” He is now preparing for his upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual feature, “Vaathi,” which is being directed by Venky Atluri. Originally scheduled for release on December 2, the movie’s release date has been officially changed to February 2023 by the film’s producers. This announcement follows an earlier one that stated the movie would hit theatres on December 2.

The music for “Vaathi” was composed by GV Prakash, who published a new poster and the release date of the movie on Twitter. The movie will be released on February 17. Earlier there were rumors that the movie’s release would be postponed, but the movie makers even a couple of weeks ago confirmed that it was just rumored and that the film as planned will be released in December. His tweet read, “With renewed spirit, we will be bringing #Vaathi #Sir movie to the theatres on 17 February 2023.” It has since been postponed to February, though. The film’s creators have not yet disclosed the cause of the release delay. The announcement poster features Dhanush dressed in a blue formal shirt sitting on the stairs of a college surrounded by a group of students.

In the movie “Vaathi,” Dhanush and Samyuktha Menon play the key characters. Dhanush portrays a teacher named Balamurugan who speaks out against the flaws in the Indian educational system. The first song from the movie, which was sung by Swetha Mohan with lyrics written by Dhanush, was released last week.
