NIRF Rankings 2020

The Ministry of Human Resource Development will announce the NIRF Ranking 2020 today. It was scheduled to be released in April but was postponed due to Coronavirus infection and lockdown. The ranking will be released on the official website of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) at www.nirfindia.org. Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank himself informed about the release of the ranking by tweeting on Wednesday. He said, ‘NIRF rankings will be announced tomorrow (Thursday) at 12 noon. Curious to know if any university and institute have made a place in the ranking of 2020?

The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking is released every year by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. NIRF has created an institution for ranking universities, engineering, management, and pharmacy institutes in the country. Earlier there was no government organization for ranking. Private institutions used to issue racking, which raised various questions. But now the government and private institutions are ranked by the government on the basis of different standards.

The NIRF rankings are awarded to institutions based on Teaching Learning and Resources, Research and Professional Practice, Graduation Outcome, Outreach and Inclusion, Perception.
