Nivin Pauly’s Padavettu is shown in 186 theaters in Kerala itself

Written and directed by debutant Liju Krishna with Nivin Pauly in the lead role, Padavettu has released the theaters on 21st October. The screenplay of the movie is written by Liju Krishna. The film has reached the audience with a good screen count. The film is released in 186 screens in Kerala alone. The film will start showing in GCC and other foreign markets including Canada. In GCC, the film has been released in UAE, Oman, Qatar, and Bahrain.

Nivin Pauly appears in the film as a commoner from the countryside who intervenes in the problems of the commoners of his own village and becomes a front fighter in their struggle. Padavetu is also the first Malayalam film to be produced by Youdlee Films, a part of Sarigama, one of India’s oldest music labels. Sunny Wayne Productions is the production partner. The film tells the story of an ordinary common man who had no specific goals in life and later becomes a hero by fighting against corruption and embezzlement for his country and fellow citizens.

The film also stars Aditi Balan, Shammi Thilakan, Shine Tom Chacko and Indrans apart from Nivin. Padavettu is co-produced by Bibin Paul.
