Turbo is a mass action comedy film now the release date announced.Scripted by Mithun Manuel Thomas, Megastar Mammootty and directed by Vysakh, The film will hit the theaters on June 13. Produced under the banner of Mammootty’s company, this film is being made on a huge budget. The film is distributed by Wayfarer Films and overseas distribution by Truth Global Films.
‘Turbo’ is the fifth film produced under the banner of Mammootty’s company. Mammootty is playing the role of ‘Turbo Jose’ in the film. Fans have taken Mammootty’s new getup ever since they saw the first look and second look of the film. Kannada actor Raj B Shetty and Telugu actor Sunil will play other important roles. The film is being prepared with a lot of emphasis on action scenes. Action scenes in the film are handled by Vietnam Fighters.
The background music for the film is composed by Christo Xavier and his team. The film uses a ‘pursuit camera’ suitable for display motion blur measurement used in chasing scenes in Hollywood films. Up to 200 km speed chasing can be filmed in it. This is the camera used in Hollywood films like ‘Transformers’ and ‘Fast and Furious’. This camera has also been used in films including ‘Pathan’ in Bollywood. ‘Turbo’ is Vysakh and Mammootty’s next film after ‘Pokkiriraja’ and ‘Madhuraraja’.
