Maaran Movie Trailer

Director Karthick Naren and Dhanush starrer Maaran avoided theaterical release and is gushing on Disney + Hotstar and is a disappointing film. The storyline, which is by all accounts old, will hardly hold your attention.

Dhanush (Mathimaaran) is an investigative writer who generally prefers to tell the truth to the people, following the strides of his dad Sathyamoorthy (Ramki) who lost his life after making an uncover. With the help of his friend who is a cop (Arjun), he brings a scam to light. This scam is tied in with bringing counterfeit EVMs, being arranged by former minister Pazhani (Samuthirakhani) who is in the plans of recovering his lost fame. In the middle of this, Maaran fails to remember the wellbeing of his sister Shwetha (Smruthi Venkat). Does this episode flip around his life? Will he reveal the secret reality of the film?

Maaran is a typical sister sentiment film that has an investigative journalism backdrop. Since the start of the film, the sibling and opinion part looks totally different, from where you don’t feel an enthusiastic association by any means.Dhanush Maaran

Dhanush is a talented actor and never disappoints his fans with his acting. Yet, in this film, the story doesn’t allow him to do a lot. His personality is composed severely to the point that even his acting couldn’t save him. Maaran and his knowledge have a great deal to do in this film and there are a few scenes where much before the police, Maaran becomes acquainted with everything.

Malavika Mohanan plays the Dhanush’s love and that doesn’t appear to be engaging by any means. This affection track might have been significantly better and it is only an extra to the sister feeling. Malavika doesn’t have much extra to do in this film. Everything she does in the film is eating bubble gum and be a hovering companion to Maaran.

The supporting cast of the film Samuthirakhani, Ameer, Aadukalam Naren, Ramki, and Bose Venkat have given justice to the roles given to them. The last ten minutes of the peak are extremely captivating. In the two hours ten minutes of runtime, a lot could have been made if the story was written nicely.
