The first part of Trivikram and Mahesh Babu’s next movie, tentatively titled SSMB28, has been successfully completed. The actor was reportedly scheduled to pick up shooting for the eagerly awaited movie in October. The filming of SSMB28 was postponed indefinitely due to the death of Mahesh Babu’s mother, Indira Devi. Mahesh Babu recently took a family vacation to Europe, which caused additional production delays for the Telugu movie.

He might have needed to travel to Europe for some medical consultation, according to a few unsubstantiated claims. Some people think Mahesh Babu’s travel to Europe may have been caused by a pain flare-up from knee surgery he had a few years prior. At the same time, Mahesh Babu’s son Gautam, who has been pursuing his degree in London, came to India to attend his grandmother’s funeral ceremonies.

Now, according to certain rumors, the shooting of SSMB28 may be delayed. The creators haven’t yet refuted or confirmed the rumors, though. Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad will serve as the location for the second leg of SSMB28. The schedule for the filming has not yet been given a start date.
Samyuktha Menon and Pooja Hegde will appear onscreen alongside Mahesh Babu in SSMB28. The funding for the project comes from Haarika & Hassine Creations. The Trivikram directorial is touted to be an action drama. According to reports, Mahesh would play dual roles in this Tollywood movie. The creators are considering names like Parthu, Arjuna, and Asura Sandhya Velalo for the title.
