Mammootty has announced a new film. Written and directed by debutant Dino Dennis, the film is titled Bazooka. The announcement was made along with the title look poster of the film, which also stars Gautham Vasudev Menon in another lead role. The title look poster depicts Mammootty’s lead character standing at gunpoint. Dino Dennis is the son of the famous screenwriter Kalur Dennis.
The film is produced by Dolvin Kuriakos, Jinu V Abraham, Vikram Mehra, Siddharth, and Anand Kumar under the banners of Theater of Dreams and Sarigama. Cinematography by Nimish Ravi, Co-Producer by Sahil Sharma, Music and Background Score by Mithun Mukundan, Editing by Nisad Yusuf, Production Design by Anees Natodi, Production Controller by Sanju J, Project Designer by Badusha N, Executive Producer by Suraj Kumar.Jinu Abraham had earlier told Asianet News Online that the film will be a stylish thriller and a new kind of film like Roshak. There are reports that the film is a mind game thriller and is in a genre that has never been seen in Malayalam. The shooting of the film will begin on April 15. Mammootty will join after Eid. The film will be shot in Kochi and Bengaluru as well. Mammootty’s next release is Kathal directed by Jio Baby.
