Shane Nigam amazed his fans with Raa Thaarame, a melody that he composed, formed, and sang for Bhoothakaalam, which has him leading the pack job with actress Revathy. The song was released via web-based media on Thursday evening and the movie’s director Rahul Sadasivan says that it has been generally welcomed. Gopi Sundar has composed the background score song and the DOP of the movie is Shehnad Jalal.

“Shane is very talented and loves singing. Even as we were wondering whether we should have a song in the movie, he wrote the lyrics over some time and would hum to us during the shoot. Then, he composed the music and played different versions of the film’s team at his house. It sounded good and we felt that we could make a recording. It worked out well and so we have used it for the film,” says Rahul.
Bhoothakaalam has Revathy and Shane playing mother and child, yet Rahul is monitored about uncovering any more. “I wrote the script with both of them in mind. They are powerful performance-oriented roles,” he says. And while Shane has been faced with some controversy earlier, Rahul says that he was “amazing to work with”. “We made an immediate connect. He was so thrilled about the film that he was excited to write this song too. He was amazing to work with,” he points out.
The film, which was written by Rahul and Sreekumar Shreyas, additionally has Athira Patel, Saiju Kurup, and James Elias insignificant jobs. The movie is produced by Teresa Rani & Sunila Habeeb.
