Now director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has responded to actress Parvathy Thiruvoth who criticized the films. Parvathy criticized Kabir Singh and Arjun Reddy’s films by comparing them to the movie Joker. The actress said that the Hollywood film ‘Joker’ does not celebrate violence while Kabir Singh glorifies it.
Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh glorify violence and misogyny. But Parvathy mentioned that she felt sympathy for the character played by Joaquin Phoenix in Joker. Parvathy also said that the film does not glorify violence.
However, Sandeep Reddy Vanga says that Parvathy doesn’t seem to have much understanding about this. Audiences don’t know what ‘glorification’ is. They expect the hero to confess his mistakes and apologize at the end of the film.
The director said that neither the actors nor the common audience understand this. Parvathy Thiruvoth said in an interview that the Joker movie does not glorify murder.. Don’t you remember the character of Joker dancing to a song on the stairs? They don’t feel it celebrates violence. I was shocked. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga said that they have no idea about it.
