Paathan is the highest-grossing Hindi film in the country. This film has entered the 500 crore club from the Indian collection and the 1000 crore club from the global box office. The film hit the theaters on January 25 and is showing its presence in the theaters in the seventh week of its release. It is interesting that despite the arrival of new releases from Bollywood including Thu Chuttee Mem Makar, the film is still able to collect collections without losing its success.
This past weekend too, the film got the best collection. The figures are 1.05 crore on Friday, 2.05 crore on Saturday, 2.55 crore on Sunday, 75 lakh on Monday, 1.25 crore on Tuesday, and 70 lacks on Wednesday. The Hindi version of Paathan has collected 519 crores in India so far. The film’s Tamil and Telugu language versions have collected 18.49 crores so far. Leading trade analyst Taran Adarsh informs that the Indian collection including all language versions is 537.49 crores.
After Zero was released in 2018, this is Shah Rukh Khan’s film. The director is Siddharth Anand who directed Salaam Namaste, Anjana Anjani, Bang Bang, and War. Deepika Padukone starrer John Abraham plays another important role. Dimple Kapadia, Shaji Chaudhary, Gautham, Ashutosh Rana, and others also star. Shahrukh had done a lot of preparations for the film, which has a lot of action scenes.
