The new features will allow users to customize the subtitles that come with content on Netflix according to the convenience of each individual viewer. The new feature allows users to modify the style and size of the subtitle text. You can also decide the font size as small, medium, or large.
Netflix will also provide the facility to change the subtitle background. Netflix has introduced three new background methods for subtitles. These are Light (black text on a white background), Contrast (yellow text on a black background), and Drop Shadow (white text on a black background). Subtitles are essential to watch Netflix content spread across multiple languages. That’s why Netflix says new changes are necessary.
Earlier, the features were available to web users. Netflix is now making this feature available to TV users worldwide as well. According to Netflix’s figures, there has been a steady increase in the number of TV viewers. According to the company, the number of people watching Netflix on TV increased by 70 percent compared to 2018.
