Directed by Aashiq Abu and starring Tovino Thomas and Rima Kallingal, Neelavelicham has reached OTT. The film has started streaming through the leading platform Amazon Prime Video. Aashiq Abu is a remake of the 1964 film Bhargveenilayam directed by A Vincent and written by Vaikum Muhammad Basheer based on his own short story Neelavelicham. The theatrical release of the film was on April 20. After 59 years of its release, Bhargaveenilayam is all set to be remade in blue light. Roshan Mathew and Shine Tom Chacko played the other lead characters. NeelaVelicham is produced by Ashiq Abu and Rima Kallingal under the banner of OPM Cinemas. Rishikesh Bhaskaran has written the additional screenplay of the film.
