Raj B has made waves in Kannada with films that are different in theme, performance, and making. The title poster of Raj B Shetty’s new film Tobi is out. Lighter Buddha Films’ second film after the cult classic Garuda Gamana Rishabha Vahana, is also produced by Agastya Films. Raj B. Shetty himself has written the screenplay and the film is directed by Malayalee debutant director Basil A. L. Conduction. The cinematographer of the film is Praveen Sriyan, who is also the cinematographer of Onthu Muttai Kathei and Garuda Gamana Rishabha Vahana.
Raj B Shetty as Tobi in the lead role and Chaitra Achar and Samyukta Hernad in other lead roles are slated to release on August 25. The presence of Malayalees working in the film’s production has already attracted attention. Apart from the Malayali director, Arshad Nakoth, the production designer of the film, Adarsh Palamatmat, who designed the sound of the film, and Ronex Xavier, who has done the make-up, are also Malayalis.
