As part of Jio Studio’s annual celebration, 100 projects were announced at an event held in Mumbai on April 12. These projects will take place as movies and web series in various languages with the participation of Jio Studios. Announced projects include Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki and Amitabh Bachchan’s Section 84. Prominent directors including Raj Kumar Hirani, Suraj Barjatya, Ali Abbas Zafar, Aditya Dhar, Prakash Jha, Amar Kaushik, and Laxman Utekar were announced to collaborate with Jio Studios in upcoming projects. Shahid Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor, Randeep Hooda, Aamir Khan, Bhumi Pednekar, Shraddha Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and many others attended Jio Studio’s event.
According to Jio Studios, it has more than 100 projects in the pipeline including films and original web series in various languages including Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, South, and Bhojpuri. Dunki (Shah Rukh Khan), Bloody Daddy (Shahid Kapoor), Bediya 2 (Varun Dhawan), Bhul Chuk Maaf (Karthik Aryan, Shraddha Kapoor), Shahid Kapoor & Kriti Sanon Untitled, Stree 2 (Raj Kumar Rao), Section 84 ( Amitabh Bachchan), Hisab Barabar (R Madhavan), Sara Hatke Sara Bachke (Vicky Kaushal, Sara Ali Khan), Blackout (Vikrant Massey, Mouni Roy), Mumbaikar (Vijay Sethupathi), The Storyteller (Paresh Rawal, Adil Hussain), Dhoom Other major projects that have been announced are Dham (Prateek Gandhi and Yami Gautam) and Samaram (Taapsee Pannu and Arvind Swamy).
