Karthi’s upcoming film “Japan,” directed by Raja Murugan, is set to release on Diwali 2023. On Karthi’s birthday, the makers unveiled a 1-minute 18-second clip introducing an intriguing and eccentric character portrayed by the actor in the movie. Branded as a heist thriller, the introductory video titled “Who’s Japan?” showcases a unique and visually captivating appeal.”Japan” marks Karthi’s 25th film and features him in a dual role. This isn’t the first time he has played multiple characters, as he previously appeared in “Siruthai” and “Kaashmora” in dual roles.
The film’s music is composed by GV Prakash, while Ravi Varman handles the cinematography and Philomin Raj is responsible for editing. In the teaser, Karthi’s appearance is characterized by flashy clothing and adorned with gold chains. A pendant featuring a rupee symbol adds to the curiosity surrounding his character in the film. However, what sets “Japan” apart from Karthi’s previous projects is the fresh and unprecedented character and storyline it presents, promising a unique cinematic experience.
