Kantara is a movie written and directed by Rishabh Shetty. ‘Kantara’ was one of the super hit films of 2022. The film, which was made on a very small budget, earned 400 crores worldwide. The Kannada film Kantara was released in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi languages with subtitles changed.

Vijay Kirandur, the makers of the film, says that they are very happy with the huge response Kantara has received and hence there are plans to make a prequel or sequel to the film. A decision will be taken after consulting director Rishabh Shetty. Vijay Kirandur says that the second part of the film can be expected but the timeline cannot be given.
