His most recent digital excursions have brought back Dino Morea to the center of attention. The entertainer, known for his looks, was very dynamic during the 2000s in films and started disappearing from that point on. Dino started to explore different businesses, however, at last, chose to get back to one thing he adores the most, which is acting.
He shares, “My friend and I had a merchandising company. We used to enjoy making celebrity merchandise. Then we also explored e-commerce, but all that didn’t go as per plan. I invested in multiple businesses and lost some money too. I realized that my love ultimately is showbiz. I got into production (with Jism 2). It was important for me to be relevant in the industry. It is not about money now, but about being happy after waking up and enjoying what I do.”
As he turned maker with Jism 2 out of 2012 and created a digital film this year, the entertainer likewise understood that it was time he confronted the camera as well. He says, “I wanted to be in front of the camera as that’s what I love. So after Jism 2, I went to Delhi and I figured more about acting. So, now while I explore acting opportunities, I am also focusing on production. Now my entire production team is very well set. We are moving at a high speed. I am writing 3 shows now. I have got 2 movies, which we have started pitching to actors now. I am also discussing my shows with OTT platforms. Let’s see who shows interest and which project gets greenlit first. I am looking forward to make good content.”
