Dimple Kapadia to collaborate with Dharmendra after 3 decades

In the past, veteran actors Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia appeared together in movies like Dushman Devta (1991), Saazish, Ganga Tere Desh Mein, and Batwara (1989). And now, more than thirty years later, the pair is prepared to work together once more. Dharmendra and Dimple will co-star in a future movie by Maddock Films. According to reports, the unnamed project is a romantic comedy with a robot theme that also features Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon.

A source close to the film mentioned that the primary cast is currently in Rajasthan shooting for it. “The unit kick-started the current schedule of the film at a palatial heritage hotel in Jaisalmer on December 15. It will continue till December 22. Post that, the team will jet off to the northern part of the country to shoot another schedule. The makers will take a call on whether it will be filmed in Chandigarh or Delhi next shortly,” the source said.Dharmendra with Dimple

Additionally, rumors have it that Kriti will make her debut as a robot in the movie. She has never worked with Shahid before; he appears to be portraying a robotics expert. The pair seems to be getting along like a house on fire if the rumor is to be believed.

Dharmendra is occupied with something since he recently celebrated his birthday. Along with finishing Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani, Karan Johar is currently working on Apne 2, which will bring him back together with his sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol as well as his grandson Karan Deol. Dharmendra will also reunite with director Sriram Raghavan for Ikkis which will also feature Agastya Nanda.

Dimple, who was last seen in Bhramastra: Part One – Shiva, is currently working on the movie Saas Bahu Aur Cocaine with director Homi Adajania. She will co-star with Pankaj Kapur in the upcoming Saurabh Shukla-directed romantic comedy-drama Jab Khuli Kitaab.
