Deepika-and-Prabhas

Since its announcement, the star-studded partnership of Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Prabhas in Nag Ashwin’s futuristic movie Project K has been a source of intrigue. Mounted on a massive canvas, the film is expected to be one of the largest entertainers of all time, with the trio playing intriguing characters. Because the plot is so vast, the creators would divide their stories into two sections.

The first part would show the making of the world of Project K, and the actual drama would unfurl in the second part. The source revealed, “The vision and plot point of Project K is so big that the makers have decided to make it a 2-part film. While the first part will establish the world and conflict of this magnum opus, entire drama will unfold in the second half, much like what happened in the Bahubali franchise. Project K is envisioned as the biggest film of Indian Cinema with a conflict like never before and celebrates the 50 years of producers, Vyjayanthi Movies.”

According to the source, the first installment has already been completed and work on the second is underway. He also mentioned that both sections are being shot in one take, and the two films will be released in less than a year. Because the team is confident in their content, they shot two sections in one day. Mani Ratnam did something similar with PS-1 and PS-2. Part one of the film is currently in post-production, with VFX artists working on the footage while the production team is busy on the sets shooting part two.

Aside from Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Prabhas, Disha Patani will star in the sci-fi picture, which was shot in both Hindi and Telegu at the same time. The film is set to be released in April of next year, and the crew will make an official announcement soon.
