Prime Video has revealed the premiere date of the highly anticipated action-spy thriller Citadel. The series will premiere on Prime Video on Friday, April 28 with two episodes. Then a new episode will be released every Friday till May 27. The series is produced by AGBO and David Weil of the Russo Brothers. It stars Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Stanley Tucci, and Leslie Manville. Citadel will be available in over 240 countries worldwide.
Citadel was an independent global spy agency tasked with upholding the safety and security of its people. But eight years ago, the powerful syndicate Manricore destroyed it. With the fall of the Citadel, its agents Mason Kane (Richard Madden) and Nadia Sin (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) lose their memories and barely escape with their lives.
Since then they have been in hiding. They live in a new identity unaware of their past. One night, Mason meets his former Citadel colleague, Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci). Mason’s help is desperately needed to stop Manricore from creating a new world. Mason is looking for his ex-partner, Nadia. They team up and later fight against the Manticore which is the plot of the series.
It stars Richard Madden as Mason Kane, Priyanka Chopra as Jonas Nadia Sen, Stanley Tucci as Bernard Orlick, Leslie Manville as Dalia Archer, Ozzie Ikhile as Carter Spence, Ashley Cummings as Abby Conroy, Roland Muller as Anders Sill and Davik Sill, and Kaolyn Springall as Hendricks Conroy. Apart from them, there is a big star cast in it.
