The most recent film by superstar Ajay Devgn is Drishyam 2, which has astounded both reviewers and fans. The second installment of the movie has been eagerly anticipated by the audience for the past seven years, and now Vijay Salgaonkar is here to address all of their concerns.
Over Rs. 15 crores were made for the movie in its domestic opening. After its first weekend, the Abhishek Pathak-directed crime thriller brought in about Rs. 64 crores.
Taking to social media, popular trade analyst Taran Adarsh revealed that Drishyam 2 witnessed a massive jump on Sunday (day 3). The Ajay Devgn and Tabu-starring film has already surpassed the opening weekend box office totals of both Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 by Kartik Aaryan and Ajay-Kajol.
Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Akshaye Khanna are the main actors in “Drishyam 2,” with Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, and Rajat Kapoor playing supporting roles. It is a remake of the same-titled 2021 Malayalam film. The central board of film certification (CBFC) granted the movie a U/A certification with 2 hours, 33 minutes approved runtime.
Anthony Perumbavoor and Aashirwad Cinemas are the co-producers of the film, which is jointly produced by T Series and Viacom 18 Studios. The film, which was made on a budget of 50 crores and has already exceeded its investment.
