Ayisha, who played the titular character in the movie “Manju Warrier,” has ventured into OTT streaming. The film was originally released in theaters on January 20 in various languages including English, Arabic, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada, apart from Malayalam. The OTT release is scheduled to take place more than five months from now. The film has secured a distribution deal with the popular streaming platform, Amazon Prime Video. It is directed by debutant filmmaker Aamir Pallikal and boasts a significant budget. Upon its release, the makers touted it as the first woman-centric film of such scale in Malayalam cinema. It stands out as one of the notable roles in Manju Warrier’s recent career.
This Malayalam movie was shot in Ras al-Khaimah after a considerable gap. The primary shooting location was the four-storied palace known as Al Khas Al Gaqid, which is also referred to as the haunted house. Manju Warrier took an effort to learn Arabic for her role in this film. The screenplay is written by Ashif Kakkodi. Apart from Manju Warrier, Radhika, Sajna, Poornima, Lateefa, Salama, Jennifer, Sarafeena, Sumaiya, Islam and others are also in the film. Zakaria is producing the film under the banner of Cross Border Camera. Shamsuddin, Zakaria Wawat, Harris Desam, and Anish P.B. under the banners Feather Touch Movie Box, Imagine Cinemas, and Last Exit Cinemas. are the co-producers of this film. Magic Frames is bringing the film to theaters. The cinematography is done by Vishnu Sharma. Editor Appu N.
