Abhishek has made his web series debut with the second season of Breath. The show also stars Amit Sadh and Nithya Menon. It will be released on Amazon Prime Video on Friday. This is the second season of the psychological thriller 2018 Breath. R Madhavan acted in its first season.

In the second season of this web series, Abhishek Bachchan played the role of Avinash Sabharwal, who is a psychiatrist. Joe tries his best to find his missing daughter Sia. The director of the show is Mayank Sharma who has also co-written the show with Bhavani Iyer, Vikram Tuli, and Arshad Syed.

Abhishek Bachchan said that he had agreed to the project on the basis of merit. Bachchan said, ‘When I heard the story, I immediately said yes. The show will be released on Amazon Prime Video, will be released as a film, or will be a TV show, to me is immaterial. He further said, ‘It was a good story that I really liked and wanted to be a part of it.’

Abhishek said that the audience is more interested in seeing a character that is real and maybe faulty, but they are not fantastical. He said, “The time has gone when the main character of the film had to follow the higher moral ground for the audience.”

Abhishek said that in today’s time, especially the youth, instead of seeing a flawed character, they will try to work by acknowledging their flaws. He said that nowadays there are few and very few fantastical characters. Our most popular heroes today are all great characters with one or two faults that make them real. It just makes the character more tactile and acceptable.
