200 crore business before release? Mass showing Nayanthara film.. Who knows the reason? Hyderabad: Nayanthara-starrer Godfather with Chiranjeevi has done business up to 200 crores even before its release, according to reports. Lucifer was a huge hit in Malayalam starring Mohanlal. Nayanthara is acting with Shah Rukh Khan in Bollywood and Salman Khan in Tollywood simultaneously which is a big jackpot that no other South Indian actress has got.
The pre-release business of Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer Godfather, directed by Mohan Raja, is splitting the sky. Godfather is the official Malayalam remake of Lucifer starring Mohanlal, Manju Warrier, Prithviraj and Vivek Oberoi. While the second part of Lucifer is titled Emburaan starring Mohanlal, its first part titled Godfather starring Chiranjeevi is going to release soon.
Chiranjeevi’s big-budget films like Saira Narasimha Reddy and Acharya failed to meet expectations. In this case, next, Chiranjeevi is acting in the remake of Lucifer, which was released in Malayalam and became a super hit with Salman Khan, under the direction of Mohan Raja. There are reports that the film has come out much better than expected. In this case, it is said that Netflix OTT has bought Godfather for 57 crores.
Also, it is said that everything including the satellite license has been sold for a huge amount. It has been reported that the pre-release business of the film is Rs 90 crores for theater release, Rs 57 crores for Hindi and Telugu digital license, Rs 60 crores for satellite license and audio license in Hindi and Telugu for a total of Rs 207 crores. It is said that Salman Khan’s cameo is the reason why the film has sold so many crores.
