Bandra Review
As the name suggests, the film is set in Mumbai. Allan Alexander Dominic alias Ala alias Kannur harbor manager. Bandra says that how and for what Ala came to Mumbai from Kannur. Mass presentation, action scenes, background music, dialogues and tense moments keep Bandra alive. The story takes place in the 1990s. Therefore, Bandra can be described as a periodic action film.
When most film lovers think of Bombay, the blood-tinged events that come to mind are the ones that give Bandra a conflicted face beyond a point. Bandra is also the story of the growth, challenges and survival of a leader named Ala. Alla’s friendship and romance with film actress Tara Janaki gives him a different face from all the difficulties he has faced till then. The director is giving another level to their relationship. Tara is a person who is facing an identity crisis because she is an actress. The few days spent with Ala are the best moments of their lives. So Ala is also the one who made changes in Tara.
Screenwriter Udaykrishna has paired Ala with many characters like Amma, Babuka, Stanley and Mirchi. The highlights of the film are the scenes that show how his interactions with the aforementioned characters are to give Ala an image of someone who would do anything for the ones they love. Team Bandra has tried to maximize Ala’s lead role by using a musician named Sam CS.
